Each new day brings an agenda…

I wake each morning,
keen to tic an item off
the unending list.

The hours fly by,
the list does not diminish.
My nap time draws near.

I wake from my nap,
my daily list taunts me still.
My snack time draws near.

Cookies and TV,
I’ll never complete the list –
eh, life is too short.

This series is intended to highlight the ridiculous antics of adulthood – a milestone we all wanted to reach as quickly as we could.
