Hello 2018, we’ve been waiting…

We made it! We actually made it! 2017 seemed to blow by in a stunning fashion, I don’t even remember if I celebrated my birthday. I guess I’ll have to eat extra cake this year just in case. I’m not a resolution maker, I find it leads me to great disappointment by mid-February when I still haven’t done a single thing on my list. Instead, I’ve decided to gift you readers with more of me! More recipes, more polls, more Lola, and more funny hijinks.

I’ll give you a little teaser because like a blockbuster movie, you won’t want to miss this.

Lola is launching an Instagram community! I made that sound so official and grand, but it’s really just a cool # for you all to follow and join in on. Details to follow this week, prepare your pets for some fun.

I can now run polls on my Facebook page! Yay! Now you’ll have the option to vote on Twitter, Facebook, or both…but there is one drawback that made me slightly sad. I’ll talk about that later.

There is delicious food! I’ve been busy in the kitchen taking photos and videos of new recipes for you to eat. Some of them are simple, one of them made me so frustrated that I had to take a nap before trying again.

The Dear Lola series is back with a bang. Lola has finally committed to answering a letter each week, she’s going to skip her 15 minute after lunch nap to get it done. I need you all to send more questions, she likes to roll through them on the living room carpet. I may need to get her a cute pair of glasses to wear.

Finally, I leave you with my latest Taco Bell teaser. My previous record for most expensive meal has finally been topped. That’s all I can say about that right now, I’m consulting with the nacho cheese gods on what I should do next.
