Scraps of used tin foil,
rogue buttons and single socks,
broken pottery.
No item too big,
decidedly none too small,
for repurposing.
The allure is strong,
and the habit hard to break.
Crafter turned hoarder.
This series is intended to highlight the ridiculous antics of adulthood – a milestone we all wanted to reach as quickly as we could. Unfortunately, the reality of adulthood is not the endless cake and cookie feast we all believed it to be. It turns out, there are a lot of monthly bills and no one cooks you dinner!
Hahahaha…it’s a bit frightening how close we can get to being a hoarder,,,there’s definitely a fine line and for some once you cross it you can never come back!😳🙄😂
Your poems always make me think, Heather, so thank you for that!
Love you!
