I’m still waiting for that ‘beam me up, Scotty’ idea to come to fruition. Are there scientists working on this device? It seems like this would be much easier than trying to develop safer space travel. Beam me to Mars and I can return in time for lunch! And just what happened to time travel? Did they give up on that idea entirely? I blame Back to the Future, it was a great movie trilogy but definitely showed us the flaws in the plan.
