Lola has just returned from a huge adventure to the desert! She visited the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas, with the latter being her personal favorite. Dogs can get away with all kinds of shenanigans in that city! Lola also established herself as the RV driver we never knew we needed. I stepped out for a quick trip to Taco Bell, and when I returned to the beast – that’s the RV – Lola was sitting in the driver’s seat, watching my every move.

I had to give her some nacho cheese to convince her that the Daddybeast was much more qualified to work the turn signals – you know, because he has thumbs! Head over to our Instagram page to see more photos from our trip, we have more posting throughout this week.

Athena celebrated her birthday this week with everything a dog could ask for. Toys, check. Cute outfit, check. Balloons, check. Fire hazards that mom orders us to not lick but stand next to for that one perfect photo, check! Happy birthday you darling girl!

Well, it couldn’t be sunshine for everyone this week – life rarely works out that way. This week we had TWO friends end up in cones of shame. Bristol, the adorable canine, was spayed this week and did not take kindly to the doctor’s orders to rest. Rest is for the dead, there are squirrels to chase!!! Quinn the cat is already plotting the death of the humans around her. I took one look at this photo and decided to hide under a blanket with Lola until our shaking subsided. Our sympathies, mighty kitty – may your human have fast legs!
