This week is going to be a wild rollercoaster for everyone who has to deal with me on a daily basis. Which means Lola and Hubster are going to need moral support in the form of food and beverages. I am desperately finalizing my second book so I can order proof copies and marvel at the magnificence of my brain.

Humility is just one of my many superpowers.

While I drive everyone near me slightly insane, I couldn’t leave my dear readers out of the fun. Here are some things that have happened to me on social media lately.

I sneezed and Lola lunged as if she was prepared to restart my heart should I need it.

I want to have a party to justify filling the house with balloons when Hubster questions my sanity.

I woke up at 3am to think long and hard about an important life decision. I'll have the chocolate donut for breakfast.

Lola doesn't just bark at the front door, she sings for the neighbor's enjoyment.

  1. Not sure why filling the house with balloons is a bad idea…but the most fun part is having a car full of them and trying to avoid a serious misadventure!! We are anxiously awaiting volume 2!! You rock, Lola! We love Mommy and Daddy Beasts too! Love, Martha

  15. Oh waking up at 3am and considering what to have for breakfast would just make me so hungry that I might have to get up there and then and go the kitchen for a snack – and I have done this before!! It’s so hard to get back to sleep when you’re hungry! #globalblogging
