Everyone loves lasagna but no one looks forward to cooking one after a busy day. This lasagna is different! Using all the traditional ingredients, you can make this lasagna in one frying pan without ever having to heat up the oven. Best of all, you can eat this lasagna out of a bowl thanks to the shortened size of the pasta.

Lazy Lasagna

1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
32 oz marinara (spaghetti) sauce
2/3 cup water
12 oz lasagna sheets, fresh pasta
1 cup mozzarella, shredded
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
16 oz ricotta cheese

12 inch skilled with high sides

Heat skillet over medium-high heat. Cook ground beef until browned, breaking into small pieces. Drain cooked meat and return to pan.
Add garlic, salt, pepper, marinara, and water to meat. Bring to a simmer.
Cut fresh lasagna strips into 2-inch squares.
Add pasta to bubbling sauce, stirring well to prevent sticking.
Cover pan with lid and cook for about 4 minutes, or until noodles are cooked. Stir once during this time to ensure noodles aren’t sticking.
Remove pan from heat, add in mozzarella and Parmesan, and mix well.
Top with ricotta and serve.

Superhero Tip: If using dried pasta, boil according to package instructions but reduce cooking time by 4 minutes. Trim to 2-inch squares.

Second Superhero Tip: Serve with crusty garlic bread!
