I think it is no secret by now that I love a creamy salad dressing. Blue cheese is one of my all-time favorites, with my homemade peppercorn coming in second place. Thousand island also gets in on the action whenever there is a burger in sight. Then there is orange French dressing for those nights I feel a bit tangy.
I may have an addiction to condiments, but I’ll never admit it.
Blue Cheese Dressing
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup milk
1/3 cup blue cheese crumbles
2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
Food processor, optional for garlic
Whisk all ingredients together and refrigerate for 2-3 hours before serving.
Superhero Tip: If the dressing is too thick for your preference, add a bit more milk AFTER you have allowed it to set in the fridge for the allotted time.
Second Superhero Tip: This dressing pairs well with salads containing walnuts, or drizzle it over your cooked steak and potatoes.
