The Tiny Little is working so hard to walk. She’s determined that today is going to be the day. Or tomorrow. Or the day after that. But no matter what, she’s going to walk.
So there she is, standing with her back against the toy shelf and repeatedly letting go with the one hand that is supporting her. Then she giggles and bounces and tries to get her foot to come off the ground. And she gets so excited about her feet moving forward.
Except her feet aren’t actually moving. Just her chunky legs wiggle around.
Her feet are staying firmly planted on the floor. I think one corner of her brain is trying to keep itself intact by not allowing her foot to lift up.
